New day, new reports on Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding. The actors will reportedly get married on December 9 on Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The latest report by India Today stated that Katrina and Vicky will fly in a helicopter to the wedding venue, to avoid attention. “According to sources, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will fly to Jaipur from Mumbai around December 5. The two are then planning to take a helicopter straight to the wedding venue, which is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from the Jaipur airport, sources said. This is to prevent getting photographed by the paparazzi,” stated the India Today report.
Earlier, a source close to the wedding arrangements told India Today that in the wake of security and privacy concerns, “drones that might be found fluttering near the wedding venue will be shot down.”
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding will be a private affair. A strict no-phone policy will be followed at the ceremonies. Other SOPs at the wedding, according to the India Today report include, no photography, not sharing the pictures on social media, not sharing the location on social media. No reels or videos can be made at the wedding venue.
Several media reports stated that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal reportedly got engaged on Diwali at director Kabir Khan’s house. The venue and ensemble details were also shared. The duo will get married at a royal palace named Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur in the first week of December. The rumoured couple will reportedly wear ensembles designed by Sabyasachi.
The stars reportedly started dating in 2019. Earlier this year, during Zoom’s chat show By Invite Only, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor confirmed that the actors are dating and said, “Vicky and Katrina are together, that’s true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don’t know. I think they’re quite open about it.”
During an episode of Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan 6 in 2018, Katrina Kaif said that she would “look good with Vicky Kaushal on screen.” Vicky Kaushal appeared to faint when he was told about Katrina’s statement during the show.
