Good Friday is observed as a holiday in the following 12 states:

- Hawaii
- Indiana
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- New Jersey
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Texas (optional holiday)
Court houses in these states will be closed, in observance of the holiday in each state. If you live outside of those states you can carry on with business as usual.
