Disha Patani has finished shooting for her schedule of Yodha, the first film of Dharma Productions’ maiden action franchise. In it, the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra who headlines the film. The actress, who has finished shooting for her portions in the film, has penned a heartwarming note for the Yodha team. Sharing a photo in which she is seen making the finger heart gesture – made popular by K-Pop artists – Disha wrote, “Thank you my most fabulous team for such an amazing experience, can’t wait Yodha.” In the image, she is seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra and the film’s director-duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.

On the last day of her shoot, Disha Patani also shared a fun video in which she is seen goofing around with Sidharth Malhotra. In the clip, the two can be seen singing along to the lines, “Who is sexy? I am sexy,” between laughs. In the caption, Disha Patani said, “And it’s a wrap.”
Sidharth Malhotra bid a hearty farewell to his leading lady by posting the same video on his timeline. In the caption, he wrote, “And it’s a wrap for our Lady Yodha. Thanks,” tagging Disha Patani.
Before that, the two costars were also seen playing with an adorable dog who visited them on set. Sharing a video of the cute pooch, Sidharth Malhotra said, “Real sexy on our Yodha set.” Disha Patani chipped to comment on what the dog must be feeling and said, “Diamond doesn’t seem very happy, lol.”
Recently, Disha Patani announced her association with the film through a social media post. Attached to a poster of the film that features her name, Disha wrote, “Super glad to join this action-packed journey! I’m ready for take-off, guys, let’s go.”

Producer Karan Johar too confirmed the same when he shared the posters with the names of the two leading actresses of the film – Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. “The phenomenal and exceptionally talented female leads of Yodha are here! Welcoming the fierce, the gorgeous and ever charming Disha Patani to the family. Along with Raashii Khanna, who brings her spark and innocence to the role like no other!” he wrote.
Yodha is slated to release in theatres on 11 November 2022.
