Say goodbye to Ultimate Gray and Illuminating! Very Peri has officially been announced as the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2022. In a press release published on Thursday, Pantone said of their new favourite hue:
“Encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone, Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.”
The choice came as no surprise, especially following the pervasive use of lilacs and lavenders on the Fall/Winter 2021 runways.
