This week just got brighter and happier thanks to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her inimitable smile. We are talking about an unseen picture of the gorgeous superstar that is currently doing the rounds on social media. The photo in question has been shared by designer Ritu Kumar and is from one of her eponymous brand’s campaigns decades ago. The image features Aishwarya Rai and Ritu Kumar sharing a laugh while looking into the camera. Both Ritu Kumar and Aishwarya Rai look lovely as they smile in abandon. The caption of the picture offers some details, including the fact that it was shot in the mid-1990s.
The caption says, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan photographed with Ritu Kumar wearing a printed ensemble from our Karabagh collection in the mid 1990’s,” adding that the photo is one in the series of “iconic images” from the brand’s archives featuring trailblazing women.
Previously, the brand had shared another throwback picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In the image, Ritu Kumar can be seen fixing Aishwarya Rai’s saree amid what appears to be a photo shoot.

Sharing a selfie with her daughter, Aishwarya Rai wrote, “Here’s wishing you all a very happy New Year with lots of love, peace, good health and happiness. God Bless.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the 2018 film Fanney Khan. She will be seen next in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan alongside a star-studded ensemble cast of Trisha Krishnan, Vikram, Karthi, and Prakash Raj, among others.
