Kunal Kapoor shared an official statement on Monday, announcing that he and his wife Naina Bachchan have welcomed a baby boy. The actor shared the news on his social media handle. “To all our well-wishers, Naina and I are overjoyed to share that we have become proud parents to a beautiful baby boy. We thank God for our abundant blessings,” read the statement. Naina Bachchan is an investment banker and the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan’s younger brother Ajitabh and Ramola Bachchan. Many celebrities congratulated the couple. Naina’s cousin and Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan wrote: “Love you all.” Hrithik Roshan wrote: “From hrithik machu,” along with heart emojis. Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan also commented: “Biggest congratulations Kuns n Nains…you are gonna be incredible parents.”

Kunal and Naina Bachchan got married in 2015. On the work front, Kunal Kapoor was last seen in the web series The Empire in which he played the role of emperor Babur. He also appeared in the 2021 film Koi Jaane Na.
