And the wait is finally over! Akshay Kumar has announced the new release date of Prithviraj. Along with the film’s release date, Akshay has also shared character motion posters of Manushli Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood. Prithviraj will now release on June 10, 2022. Sharing the release date, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Parakram mein Arjun, pratiksha mein bhishma, aise mahaan samrat Prithviraj Chauhan ki bhumika karna ka saubhagya jevan mein kabhi kabhi milta hai. A role of a lifetime. Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan arriving in cinemas on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.” Akshay Kumar will be seen as Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in the film.

Sonu Sood will be seen as Chand Vardai in Prithviraj. Sharing his look, Akshay wrote, “Daring, perceptive and wise, he was Chand Vardai. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar is making her acting debut with Prithviraj and will be seen in the role of Princesses Sanyogita. Sharing Manushi’s look, Akshay wrote, “Princess Sanyogita weaved a tale of true love & compassion.”
Prithviraj’s earlier release dates were postponed due to novel coronavirus. Produced by Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj is being directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan.
