Sushmita Sen is “feeling reborn” on her 46th birthday. Why, you ask? The actress underwent surgery on November 16. And, she is “healing marvellously every passing day”. We are glad to hear that. The surgery took place after the actress wrapped her shooting for the web series Aarya 2. The former Miss Universe has shared a few details via a long note on Instagram. Thanking everyone for sending warm wishes on the occasion, Sushmita wrote, “A big “thank you” to all of you super generous and loving souls…Unending showering of good wishes and blessings coming my way…Making this birthday yet another one to be cherished. I feel reborn this birthday in more ways than I can describe in words.”
Talking about the surgery, Sushmita Sen said, “Letting you in on a little secret…I completed Aarya 2 and then travelled to address my health….Had a successful surgery on November 16 and I am healing marvellously every passing day…In this beautiful place. I feel the goodness of all your energies and the strength of your love. Keep it coming.”
“My 46th birthday marks a healthy new beginning and also sports a new look. Lots to look forward to…After all, the greatest gift is being alive,” Sushmita Sen concluded. She added the note with, “I love you guys” message for her Instagram family. For hashtags, apart from her statement one “Dugga dugga”, the actress wrote, “gratitude”, “tightest hugs”.
Sushmita Sen’s long note on her birthday won a lot of hearts on the social media platform. One of the comments came from her sister-in-law, actress Charu Asopa. She wrote, “Happy birthday, di. Love you loads.”Charu is married to Sushmita’s brother Rajeev Sen.
Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend Rohman Shawl has penned a heartwarming message for the love of his life. Rohman picked a throwback frame from his photo album and wrote, “ Happy birthday, Babush.” He added a couple of red hearts to glam his post.

Last week, Sushmita Sen dropped her first look from Aarya 2 on Instagram. Words can’t describe that look on Sushmita’s face. As the actress said, “Sherni is back. This time, deadlier than ever. Aarya’ll ready?.”
Earlier this month, Sushmita Sen celebrated the arrival of her niece, daughter of Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa. Sushmita, who was present at the time of delivery, wrote, “Lakshmi arrives just before Diwali. It’s a girl. Congratulations Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen…what a beauty she is. Became a bua this morning. Not allowed to share baby pictures yet, so sharing mine from just before Charu delivered our little angel. I was blessed to witness it. Congratulations to Asopa and Sen family, three grandchildren, all girls.”
