Actor Sonu Sood treated his fans to a special post on Tuesday. The social media upload by Sonu Sood — who is now a hero across the country thanks to his extensive philanthropic work — contains pictures from a film in which he portrayed the revolutionary freedom fighter, Bhagat Singh. Sharing four pictures from the movie Shaheed-e-Azam, Sonu Sood described the project as one of his most special films. In the caption, Sonu Sood wrote, “Sadda Punjab. Saddi zimmedari (Our Punjab. Our responsibility),” adding, “Memories from my most special film ‘Shaheed-e-Azam‘ Bhagat Singh.”
The post received a bunch of responses from fans who praised the actor’s look in the 2002 film. Shaheed-E-Azam is directed by Sukumar Nair and features Manav Vij and Raj Zutsh in pivotal roles.

The actor often shares pictures and videos on his social media handles and adds a hint of motivation in all his posts. Recently, Sonu Sood posted a video titled “Sonu Da Dhabha- Sunday special,” in which he is seen making a variety of rotis (Indian bread) in a traditional tandoor. In the video, the actor takes us through the process of making the rotis and concludes by saying, “Moral of the story — Khud ki kamaao aur khud kaho…Aur haan, aam aadmi ke liye, ghareeb aadmi ke liye bilkul free hai boss..(Earn yourself and feed yourself. And yes, the food is absolutely free for common man and those in need).”

On another occasion, Sonu Sood also shared a throwback photo of himself with a hilarious caption that left fans chuckling. Sharing the sepia-tinted image, Sonu Sood said, “A historic picture from the first so-called “Professional” portfolio. And I thought there can’t be a better picture than this. No wonder my mind was acting like a light stand in the background which is without a bulb.”
Replying to the post, filmmaker Farah Khan said, “This photo is epic!” To this Sonu Sood replied, “This photo got me Happy New Year,” referring to the 2014 Farah Khan film in which he starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.

Sonu Sood had also shared a throwback image that made us go “wow”. Sharing the photo, Sonu Sood said, “Throwback to the modelling days in Mumbai.”
