Love is definitely in the air for Starbucks fans this week as diehard coffee aficionados are discovering that new Valentine’s Day-themed merchandise has landed in cafés across the country.
If you’re a fan of this beloved February holiday, be sure to keep an eye out for a slew of new pink-hued coffee tumblers, water bottles and ceramic mugs that are landing in retail locations now (they make for great gifts!). A huge fan favorite so far seems to be a new soft-touch, studded, opaline tumbler in rose pink, which has been released in two sizes, including the 16 ounce Grande and the more popular 24 ounce Venti. Social media users, including popular account @starbucksnsunshine, have referred to these cheery hues as “pink lemonade” in their descriptions.

Like other seasonal releases, social media users have noticed these new cups are retailing between $19.95 and $24.95, with prices and availability fluctuating in Canada and other international markets.

But Starbucks isn’t releasing just a single new Valentine’s Day cup — earlier this winter, eagle-eyed coffee lovers noticed a slow trickle of new domed heart tumblers in a blazing red featuring a print heart motif. The heart motif carries over into a new water bottle option as well as a few ceramic mugs for those who enjoy hot coffee instead. Plus, we’re seeing evidence of new reusable lidded coffee cups for folks who can’t enough of their color-changing prowess.

On top of all that, there’s also a good chance you’ll be able to get your hands on a heart-themed cup of your own. There could be as many as five different items to shop this season.

A new pearlescent dome cup is indeed turning heads, thanks to its design, which is reminiscent of the wildly popular early summer 2021 collection that Starbucks fans quickly bought out. It seems this may be the toughest cup to source this season, though fans have been already on the hunt for this seasonal find that only comes in a large Venti size.

If you’re out searching for one of these new Starbucks cups, your best bet is to start at your local Target. Odds are it most likely hosts a Starbucks retail location. Starbucks’ merchandise collectors have long established that these retail locations in malls, airports and big-box superstores (as opposed to standalone cafés) often receive first shipments of new merchandise collections in bulk.
