Shilpa Shetty Kundra is rooting for her sister Shamita Shetty once again. Why? Shamita, who is a part of the TV reality show Bigg Boss 15, was recently called out by host Salman Khan for her attitude inside the house. Shamita also voiced her experience and said that it has been “emotionally extremely difficult” for her. “I play from my heart,” she said in a clip from the show. Result? Shilpa could not hold herself back and rushed to support Shamita for showing her “real” self on the show. Sharing a video from Bigg Boss 15, Shilpa wrote a long appreciation note for her darling sister and introduced it, “This is for my brave soul, a fighter, my sister.”
Defending her sister, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “It’s sad to see how some are misinterpreting Shamita’s behaviour as arrogant because, “they think” she’s privileged or is fake, and she doesn’t have an opinion (sometimes too opinionated actually), or doesn’t use her head only heart, which is absolutely untrue/rubbish.”
Shilpa Shetty said that she was commenting not just as a sister but also as a Bigg Boss viewer and “being privy to this format as a participant and former host.” She added, “I feel Shamita is being accosted for having a heart / being emotional and viewed as privileged by some, but if she was, she wouldn’t be in this show trying to carve a niche for herself professionally. “
Shamita Shetty has been locking horns on the game show. But, she received much support from her sister when Shilpa Shetty wrote, “I can vouch for one thing that what you see of her is as “Real” as can get. That’s her USP, she’s her authentic self. Don’t know about these so-called “games” and “strategies”; all I know is everyone is different and she reacts the way she’s conditioned.” To take it further, Shilpa added that they were not born into wealth and had their own struggles. Rooting for her “Tunki”, Shilpa said, “No game in life or on tv can be at the cost of losing one’s dignity. She shows that in her game, she’s shown grace under fire and my heart swells with pride as a sister.”
