(Pocket-lint) – Samsung is holding a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event in April, where Samsung is promising to unveil the most power Galaxy yet.
The event will be live-streamed so everyone around the globe will be able to tune in to watch the unveiling themselves. Here’s everything you need to know.
When is Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event?
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place on 28 April at 10am ET. Here are local times:

What to expect from Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event
Samsung has said that it will be unveiling the “the most powerful Galaxy.” We suspect that this is going to be a laptop rather than a phone, so the Galaxy Book is in the frame. The teaser video shows the device being deilvered, with powerful happenings en route – perhaps suggesting 5G connectivity – while the closing scene looks just like someone opening a notebook.
Fortunately a couple of devices have leaked, so we have a good idea what to expect.
Galaxy Book Pro
The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is expected to follow-up on the previous Galaxy Book, perhaps bringing with it 5G connectivity. It’s said to some in 13 and 15-inch versions. We don’t know what will be powering this model – the Galaxy Book S came in both Intel and Qualcomm versions, so it’s coming from a slightly wobbly position.
Galaxy Book Pro 360
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 is expected to offer S Pen support as another input option.
Exynos x AMD
Samsung has been working with AMD for a number of years and it’s believed that the result will be Exynos hardware with an AMD GPU. Earlier in 2021, Samsung confirmed that it would be revealing the results of this collaboration in a Samsung flagship device. It was assumed that it would be the Galaxy Fold 3, but it could be that this is targetted at Samsung’s notebooks instead.
