The next-generation Mahindra XUV500 will come with a more premium design that will include a plush and upmarket cabin as well, which is evident from these photos. Now, the biggest highlight of the new Mahindra XUV500‘s cabin is the large, Mercedes-Benz-style single unit screen, which will get split displays for infotainment and instrument cluster. The cabin trim itself is treated in stitched faux leather inserts, and it comes in a dual-tone black and beige combination. The new seats are also upholstered in beige faux leather, while the new centre console houses the gear lever, which in this case is an automatic unit, electronic parking brake switch, and a rotary dial, possibly for different driving modes. We have seen spy photos of the car with a hand brake lever, which means that the electronic parking brake is likely to be offered only in the top-spec model.

The SUV is also likely to come with features like – Apple Carplay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a sunroof, and we won’t be surprised if Mahindra decides to offer a wireless charger as well. Additionally, the new-gen Mahindra XUV500 SUV is also expected to come with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Mahindra has also said that it aims to get a 5-star safety rating for the new-gen XUV500 and Scorpio, so we expect to see a host of standard safety features as well.
The new images also give us a glimpse of the front section of the SUV, which will come with a new grille, and sharper looking LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights. Previous spy photos have also hinted at the fact that the SUV will get new flush-fitting door handles, and new alloy wheels which are also visible in these latest images.
