And, the Oscar goes to? Well, you wouldn’t think Shanaya Kapoor was claiming the trophy this year. But the Bollywood star kid has already received the award on her birthday. Believe it or not, Shanaya’s birthday celebration was graced by a unique cake that had a replica of the Oscar on it. It’s quite a filmy touch to the party, right? Shanaya’s father, actor Sanjay Kapoor, posted a video of the birthday girl and her eye-catching chocolate cake. In the video, Shanaya is smiling and giggling in a white dress while cutting the cake. Sanjay Kapoor added a heartwarming birthday note for his loving daughter. He wrote, “Happy birthday my (heart). Always be happy and keep smiling like this, love you.”
Filmmaker Farah Khan congratulated Sanjay Kapoor on his daughter’s birthday while singer Kanika Kapoor wished a happy birthday to Shanaya Kapoor in the comments.
Shanaya Kapoor’s mother, Maheep Kapoor, picked some throwback moments from her photo gallery to mark the special day. Shanaya’s childhood pics won our hearts in no time. Her sparkling smile and the glint in her eyes are all too familiar to her fans now. The caption read, “22. My heart and soul.” Maheep Kapoor also added a bunch of red hearts and a nazar amulet emoji. And, the comment space was filled with HBD messages. Malaika Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday darling, Shanaya.” Bhavana Pandey dropped some red hearts. Director Zoya Akhtar also sent her warmest greetings. “Happy birthday, Shanaya,” read her note.
Sanjay Kapoor also posted a photo of himself and Shanaya Kapoor on Instagram Stories. He then uploaded a throwback photo of Shanaya and Maheep Kapoor walking on a runaway.

Shanaya is set to make her Bollywood debut soon. She has already signed to launch her big-screen career with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is yet to be titled. Shanaya herself confirmed the news back in March. She wrote in an Instagram post, “Woke up today with the most grateful heart. Here’s to a great journey ahead with the Dharma Cornerstone Agency family. Excited to kickstart my first film (ah) this July by Dharma Productions, can’t wait for you all to see what we’re up to! Stay tuned!”
