BMW M8 is the winner of the 2021 CNB Performance Car of the year award. Launched in India last year, it is the most powerful BMW Coupe ever sold in the country to date. The car comes to India as a completely built unit (CBU). To win the coveted title, the M8 Coupe had to compete with some contenders such as Audi RS7 Sportback and Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-door Coupe.
Under the hood, there is a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbocharged motor, which is one of the most powerful engines from the German carmaker. The motor produces 592 bhp and 750 Nm of power figures and comes paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. It also gets an M-spec xDrive all-wheel drive system that sends power to all four wheels. The coupe is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.

The car gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system, Merino leather upholstered seats, ambient lighting, Harman sound system and M Sports seats, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, BMW display key, park assist plus, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and more. The BMW M8 Coupe is offered in a single variant which is priced at ₹ 2.18 crore (ex-showroom).
