Indian Railways authorities cancelled more than 100 special and passenger train services operating on routes including Howrah, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and few others, as a necessary precautionary measure due to Cyclone Yaas. The special passenger train services mostly come under the administration of the Eastern and South-Eastern railway zones – headquartered in West Bengal. According to recent statements issued by the South Eastern railway zone, the train services, including passenger DEMU trains, have been cancelled or temporarily suspended due to Cyclone Yaas. According to recent official circulars issued by the South Eastern railway zone, more than 100 special train services have been cancelled since May 22, as a precautionary measure due to Cyclone Yaas. On May 22, the South Eastern railways zone cancelled 78 special train services due to the cyclone. On May 23, the zonal authorities cancelled 41 more train services as a precautionary measure.

According to the official circular issued by the South Eastern railway zone, the following special train services are cancelled up until further notice, due to Cyclone Yaas. Some of the cancelled train services along with details of train number, routes, frequency are as follows:
