Let’s Find This Reader a Workhorse Sweater!

Ladies, one of our own is searching for an everyday sweater…
“Question for the #CoJHiveMind: where can I find a simple, neutral sweater that will look cute at school drop-off and the office and weekend brunch? I’ve been inside for almost two years and am ready for something new. Basically, I want a comfy sweater that can break some hearts. Help!” — M.
Great question! We’re on it. Here are eight options:
The Everyday Crewneck: A friend recently tried on this Target pullover, and she said it drapes beautifully.
The Softest Cashmere: I have a trusty J.Crew sweater that I’ve worn for almost a decade, and their new cut is the same, except more relaxed and even softer. Bonus: it comes in 17 colors.
The Pop of Color: How cool is this pink cardigan? You could walk down the street and brighten up the winter.
The Warm Hug: How cuddly does an alpaca henley sound? I love the old-school vibe and big buttons.
The Polo: This fall, I’ve been seeing collared sweaters everywhere. They’re timeless and would look great with jeans or black pants. You can find them in cashmere, ribbed and lightweight.
The Colorblock: Made in L.A., Donni’s two-tone cardigan would look cool layered or on its own.
The Half-Zip: I’ve had a long-time theory: everyone looks more attractive in a half-zip. Looking forward to seeing them around this fall.
The Money No Object Sweater: If you’re going to splurge, here’s the place. How great are those thick stripes? Plus, the cotton-silk blend is light enough to wear year-round.
Thoughts? Which would you wear? What other recs would you share?
