Logitech G333 earphones are a tough pair of earbuds perfect for on-the-go gaming

Logitech’s G333 gaming earphones combine the simplicity and pocket-friendly design of earbuds with audio performance tuned for gaming. They are the first in-ear headphones in Logitech’s G gaming line although the speaker design is like that of the G333 VR earphones it made for the Oculus Quest 2.
The $50 earphones (£40, AU$65 converted) have dual-dynamic drivers with one handling highs and midrange and one for bass. Games sound detailed without being too bright and the bass is strong and a little loose but not muddy. There is a noticeable separation between the drivers, though, which made gameplay more immersive than those cheap earbuds you’ve been using that should just stay tangled in a drawer (or maybe that’s just me). They sound fine for music and chat, too.

Logitech used a flat cable so they won’t get knotted up easily when you jam them in your pocket. There’s an in-line controller for volume and music controls and a mic on the other side. The mic performance was overall fine and I didn’t have to keep it in front of my mouth to be heard clearly. However, a couple of people I chatted with mentioned my mic level was low.
They come in black, white and purple versions and only the purple might look a little out of place in a work video chat. The earpieces are housed in aluminum and the cables seem firmly attached so they should withstand some rough treatment. Still, if you want to pamper your G333s, Logitech includes a zipper pouch to store them in. You also get three pairs of silicone tips to help you get a tight seal.
The G333’s have a standard 3.5mm jack at the end of its 1.2-meter cable for plugging into a console controller, Nintendo Switch, PC, tablet or phone. A 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter is included, too.
With no battery life or charging to worry about and lag- and interference-free performance, there are still good reasons to go with wired earbuds over wireless, especially for gaming. The Logitech G333 gaming earphones are a good fit if you’re looking for clear plug-and-play mobile gaming audio that’s higher quality than those cheap earbuds you should just leave tangled in your desk drawer.
