New QJ Motor SRK 600 To Be Launched In India As 2021 Benelli TNT 600

QJ Motor launched the updated SRK 600 in China recently. In all likelihood, it will make its way to India as the BS6 compliant Benelli TNT 600. For the uninitiated, Benelli is owned by Qian Jiang (QJ) Motor and most of their bikes are re-badged and sold as Benelli motorcycles in other markets.

The 2021 QJ Motor SRK 600 is likely to be launched in India as the Benelli TNT 600
China-based QJ Motor recently launched the updated SRK 600 in its home market. Now, QJ Motor also sells some of its motorcycles in other markets, re-badged as Benelli Motorcycles. The Benelli TNT 600 was one of them and we believe that the updated QJ Motor SRK 600 is likely to be launched in India as the updated, BS6 compliant Benelli TNT 600. Benelli is in the process of upgrading its motorcycle line-up in India to meet BS6 emission norms and the TNT 600 is definitely a model that will be included in its future portfolio.

For 2021, the motorcycle gets few design updates such a new round LED headlight with daytime running lights. Earlier, the headlight design was very similar to the one on Kawasaki Z1000. Apart from that, the motorcycle stays the same as before. The motorcycle also gets a new full-colour TFT instrument console and gold-anodised upside down forks, giving it a premium look. Other features include keyless ignition and a USB charging port. The SRK 600 gets an in-line four-cylinder engine which displaces 600 cc and makes 81.5 bhp and 55 Nm, which is the same as before. However, the engine is likely to have been re-tuned, to offer better performance.

QJ Motor launched the SRK 600 in China at a price of 49,999 CNY or ₹ 5.70 lakh. Now, Benelli India has launched the BS6 compliant Imperiale 400, TRK 502 and the Leoncino 500 as well. And the company is likely to launch the QJ Motor SRK 600 in India as the Benelli TNT 600, probably in the second half of 2021. Upon it launch, it will go up against the Kawasaki Z650, Honda CB650R and the newly launched Triumph Trident 660.
