New Delhi:
It has been one year since Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal got married in a fairytale ceremony in Mumbai. And to mark the special occasion, the actor shared a bunch of special – and extremely adorable – pictures with Natasha on Instagram. The pictures clicked during the ceremony features the couple exchanging garlands, holding hands and even folding hands in namaste in front of each other. Needless to say, the much-in-love couple only has eyes for each other in the images. Keeping the mushy quotient high in the post, Varun Dhawan made the caption short and sweet. He just wrote, “1,” with a heart emoji.
Fans and colleagues of the actor wished the couple on the happy occasion. Actress Huma Qureshi dropped a heart emoji in the comments. Actor Tiger Shroff too replied saying, “Congratulations,” with heart emoji. Neha Kakkar replied with a heart emoji.
Soon after posting pictures with Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan shared more images from his pre-wedding festivities. Posting pictures from his Haldi ceremony, Varun Dhawan dropped the same caption as his previous post and wrote just “1,” with heart emoji. In the pictures, Varun Dhawan is seen being dunked in water. In another image, he is seen standing in the pool.
Varun Dhawan’s anniversary comes on the heels of a personal loss. The actor’s driver and long time associate, Manoj Sahu died of a heart attack on January 18. On Saturday (January 22), the actor shared a touching note about his bond with Manoj Sahu, who had worked with Varun Dhawan and his family for 26 years. Sharing a throwback video with Manoj Sahu, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Manoj has been in my life for the last 26 years. He was my everything. I have no words to express my grief but all I want is people (to) remember him for his amazing wit, humour and passion he had for life. I will always be grateful I had u in my life Manoj dada.”
Replying to the post, Anushka Sharma said, “RIP Manoj Dada,” with a broken heart emoji.
Swara Bhasker too responded to the post and said, “Heartfelt condolences to Manoj dada’s family and you, Varun.”
Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra also conveyed their condolences in the comments.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in the 2020 film Coolie No 1 with Sara Ali Khan. He will be seen next in projects such as Jug Jugg Jeeyo, co-starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Koli as well as Bhediya with Kriti Sanon.
