As Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap releases on Friday, wishes are pouring in for the debutant from all quarters. Among the star’s numerous well-wishers is Indian cricketer, KL Rahul. What is the connection, you wonder? KL Rahul is dating Ahan Shetty’s sister, actress Athiya Shetty. And now, KL Rahul has shared a photo and penned a special note for his “brother” Ahan Shetty to mark his career milestone. KL Rahul wrote in a post on the Koo app, “No more looking back my brother Ahan Shetty. So proud, only bigger things ahead of you,” along with an evil-eye amulet emoji. He further added, “Tadap out now.”

KL Rahul was spotted along with Athiya Shetty and other members of the Shetty family for the special screening of Tadap on Thursday. KL Rahul was seen interacting with Athiya’s family including dad Suniel Shetty and Ahan Shetty. Other stars who attended the screening include Salman Khan, Kajol, Genelia D’Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Aayush Sharma and Mouni Roy.

Before this on the occasion of Athiya Shetty’s birthday in November, KL Rahul shared two pictures with her. In the caption, he wrote, “Happy birthday my (heart emoji) Athiya Shetty.”

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been rumoured to be dating since 2019. The two often make an appearance on each other’s social media timelines.

Meanwhile, Tadap marks Ahan Shetty’s entry into Bollywood. He is paired in the Milan Luthria film opposite Tara Sutaria. The film is the official remake of the 2018 hit Telugu movie RX 100.
