“Please Stay Away From Javed Saab,” Boney Kapoor Wrote After Shabana Azmi Tested COVID-Positive

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi is the latest addition to the list of Bollywood stars who contracted COVID-19. The actress, on Tuesday announced in an Instagram post that she has contracted the virus and is currently isolating at home. “Have tested positive for Covid today. Have isolated myself at home and request all those who were in close contact with me to please get tested,” she wrote. The comments section of her post was flooded with wishes for her speedy recovery. Shabana Azmi’s Mandi co-star Soni Razdan wrote: “Get well soon and hope you don’t have it bad. Lots of love.” Film producer Boney Kapoor commented: “Oh God, please stay away from Javed Saab.”

Several other stars wished the actress a speedy recovery. Ekta Kapoor’s comment read: “Get well soon mam.” Fashion designer Manish Malhotra wrote: “Take care. Get well soon.”
