In May last year, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas purchased a new home in Los Angeles. Now, in an interview with Harper Bazar Arabia,Priyanka has talked about the house and why it is special. Priyanka Chopra said, “We’ve built the home that we dreamt of, we built the home that I guess has space for everything that is in our lives. And I feel most at peace when I’m at home.” At the end of 2019, Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas purchased a 20,000-square-foot home, which reportedly costs $20 million in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. They are yet to share proper photos and videos from their new home.
The house has a Hollywood infinity pool and movie theatre, a two-lane bowling alley, a game room, and an indoor basketball court, reported Harper Bazar Arabia. The house overlooks the hills, the living room has double-height ceilings, a sun-kissed porch, an in-built gym, a recording studio, and modern interiors in shades of white and grey. The outdoor area has a cozy seating arrangement.
Priyanka and Nick celebrated Diwali in their new home. In June last year, Nick Jonas had shared a promotional video and it had glimpses of their new house. Priyanka had commented on the video and had written, “So awesome. Also, our house looks amazing! You look amazing too baby.”
On the personal front, Priyanka and Nick recently became parents. On January 22, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas surprised their fans when they announced the arrival of their first child. The couple welcomed their first child through surrogacy. Sharing the news, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wrote, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
There are rumours that Priyanka and Nick have welcomed a baby girl and she was a premature baby. But nothing has been confirmed yet. Priyanka and Nick had been renovating their new LA home for months to make it more family friendly, reported People. A source close Priyanka and Nick told People, “When they bought the house together, they had children in mind. They were hoping to have kids and needed a place with a lot of outdoor space and greenery.” The source added, “They spent months renovating the house, they wanted to make it more family-friendly.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra, who was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections, will next be seen in Text For You. She also has Citadel. Apart from Hollywood projects, Priyanka Chopra also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa in Bollywood.
