Dia Mirza chanced upon a throwback picture from her Miss India days and she shared it on her Instagram profile. The photo also features Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta. “Throwing it back to the year 2000,” wrote Dia Mirza. “Three girls with a heart full of dreams and each other to lean on,” commented Lara Dutta. Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza go a long way. Priyanka Chopra’s win in 2000 marked the 5th Miss World win from India. Priyanka Chopra’s fellow Miss India winners in 2000 were Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza. While Priyanka won Miss World title later that year, Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe and Dia Mirza won the Miss Asia Pacific title. Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta later co-starred in films such as Andaaz and Don 2.

Citadel is Priyanka Chopra’s second project with Amazon Prime Video after announcing the Sangeet Project, a sangeet-themed dance reality show, which she will host with Nick Jonas. Dia Mirza is best known for starring in films such as Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Tehzeeb, Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Sanjay Dutt’s biopic titled Sanju. She was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s critically acclaimed film Thappad, co-starring Taapsee Pannu.
