Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 56th birthday on Tuesday (November 2) and wishes and messages came flowing in from all quarters. The actor’s co-star of several films, Preity Zinta added to the list of birthday wishes by posting two heartwarming images of the duo. Much to the delight of fans, the actress chose photos related to two iconic movies, Veer Zaara and Kal Ho Naa Ho that starred the duo. In the first of the two images that appear to be from an event related to Veer Zaara, the duo is recreating the iconic pose from the poster of the film – seen in the background – but with a small difference. While the poster features them in a sombre mood, the photo has the two actors showing off their celebrated dimples.
The second one, too, is as refreshing. The snapshot clicked on the sets of Kal Ho Naa Ho features SRK pointing at Preity’s dimples as she smiles. With Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in the frame, we can’t help but go gaga over the photos. And Preity, too, addressed the inimitable “double dimples” of SRK in the caption. Sharing the two images, Preity Zinta wrote, “Happy Birthday, Shah Rukh Khan. Always wanna see you smile n shine flaunting those double dimples. Loads of love always.”

Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan have appeared in several movies together. In addition to Veer Zaara and Kal Ho Naa Ho, the two have featured in films such as Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Dil Se…, and Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega.
Much like Preity Zinta, Madhuri Dixit too — who has featured in several films with SRK — left a sweet birthday note for the actor on Tuesday. The actress picked a snapshot from their film Dil Toh Pagal Hai and wrote, “Happy birthday to the most humble and ever charming, Shah Rukh. May you live a long and happy life.” Following suit, Kareena Kapoor also shared Instagram Stories with the note, “Forever ruling. Happy birthday, SRK.”
In a similar vein, SRK’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi co-star Anushka Sharma wrote, “Happy birthday, Shah Rukh. May you shine brightest always.” Katrina Kaif, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, said, “Nobody like you Shah Rukh Khan. May all the love and light be with you this year and every year.”
Alia Bhatt, who appeared with Shah Rukh Khan in Dear Zindagi, posted a lovely note on Instagram and said, “My favourite person. King of not just cinema. King of goodness, king of possibly-it-all. Happy happy birthday, SR. You are and always will be synonymous with Love. Love is the greatest thing in this world. And, so are you.”
She added, “I hope, wish and pray that you only have good, love-filled days in your life always and forever – because that’s all you give us.”
Once again, happy birthday Shah Rukh Khan.
