And, the way they spread magic amidst the Dal Lake in Kashmir. Isn’t it? The song is from the film Kashmir Ki Kali, released in 1964. Since then, we have seen a lot of people recreating the number in their own way during their visit to the picturesque location. Well, seems like Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar are not different. Yes, they did a Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore there. But, with a twist. Rahul Vaidya sang for his beloved wife. Aww. Wait, please. Can’t miss the caption. “Meri Kashmir Ki Kali,” the singer wrote. To which, Disha Parma replied, ”And, you are Khuda Gawah.” The couple’s friend, actor Aly Goni wrote, “End bhai end. [The ending, bro]”. The next comment was from Jasmin Bhasin. “Kya lag rahe ho. [You look great]”

Now, are feeling nostalgic and want to revisit the original version sung by Mohammed Rafi. Coming back to Rahul Vaidya and his Kashmir trip. The happily married couple jetted off the valley to ring in Disha Parmar’s birthday, which was on November 11.
For the statement birthday update, Rahul Vaidya had shared love-filled postcards from their trip and wrote, “There’s only one girl who I could have married and that’s you! From proposing to you last year same date to celebrating this day today with you as your husband has been just so beautiful…Be blessed always as you are…Happy birthday, Disha Parmar.”
The couple got married on July 16.
