After a day full of festive crafts, egg hunts, and family-friendly games, you may feel tempted to put your ham dinner on hold. Or maybe you just want to call it quits early on in the day and scrap your planned brunch for something, well, easier. We totally get it.
With many restaurants and grocery stores closed for the holiday, your options for a quick meal are few and far between. Luckily, McDonald’s is one of the few fast food chains offering drive-thru, carry out, and/or indoor dining on Easter Sunday this year. Some McDonald’s locations have adjusted their operating hours and many only offer drive-thru or carry out to adhere to local regulations amid the coronavirus pandemic. To get the most up-to-date information, call your nearest McDonald’s to confirm hours and procedures before you hit the road.
All McDonald’s locations are enforcing social distancing and enhancing cleaning procedures in light of COVID-19. That being said, it’s important to do what feels right for you — but you can rest assured that McDonald’s is doing everything possible to keep their restaurants as safe as possible.
While the CDC says that the “safest way to enjoy and support restaurants and bars is to take out food and eat it at home with people who live with you,” keep the f0llowing considerations in mind if you choose to eat out this Easter:
- Wear masks at all times, except when you are actively eating or drinking.
- Make sure you are six feet apart from others outside of your household when sitting or standing.
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after eating. Use hand sanitizer, if you can’t wash your hands.
- Eat quick — the longer you stay put, the more you increase your risk.
