Gerald I. Lamkin, a president emeritus of Ivy Tech Community College, died at age 86.

Donald Price, founding director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and professor emeritus of pathology, neurology, and neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University, died on May 5.

William E. Spriggs, chief economist at the AFL-CIO, a former assistant secretary of labor in the Obama administration, and a professor at Howard University, died on June 6. He was 68.
