The actress announced in a since-deleted tweet on January 26 that her husband of 13 years told her “he is to leave his family.” Evans told fans that she and the estranged couple’s daughters, Ella and Elsie, were “very confused and sad” and had not “been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me.'” Gruffudd did not immediately comment.

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly

Daly confirmed his and the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s second split on January 23. “After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” he said in a statement. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom.” The pair, who tied the knot in June 2017, initially broke up in September 2019 but later attempted to reconcile.

The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart season 1 winners announced their split on January 19, after nearly one year of dating. “With deep admiration and respect for one another, we have decided to end our relationship and go our separate ways,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We will always look back on our journey with deep fondness, and will continue to support each other both personally and professionally.”

Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau

The Teen Mom 2 star denied cheating on his ex-fiancée on Tuesday, January 19, after she confirmed their relationship is over after three years together. “I have dealt with my fair share of betrayal and pain my whole life, but what I learned today, what I found out today — from the kids none the less — just makes me feel like the last three years, they’ve just been waiting for this to happen,” she said in a since-deleted Instagram Story video, claiming Marroquin cheated with his ex-wife Kailyn Lowry.

The Bachelorette season 16 couple ended their engagement in January 2021. “They had been fighting a lot as of late. Clare started many of the arguments, and Dale would try not to rock the boat too much, but it all became too much for the both of them,” a source told Us at the time. “They finally realized that perhaps they did move too quickly after all.”

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas

On January 18, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that the pair, who were first spotted together in March 2020, amicably split. “She was the one who called things off. Ben and Ana were moving in different directions in their lives and stopped seeing eye to eye,” the insider said at the time. “The two couldn’t work through their differences and have decided to end their relationship.”

The Love Island season 2 winners announced their split three months after the finale. “This is extremely difficult for me to express but out of respect for those of you who supported me, and rode for me, I want you to know that Caleb and I are no longer together,” Ndiba wrote via Instagram on January 16. “I do ask for time as I continue to go through the process of heartbreak and healing as this has all been very hard for me. I cannot thank you all enough for the love and support to this point and I hope that it may continue as we move forward as individuals.”

The former Destiny’s Child singer announced her separation from Walker on January 11. “After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” she wrote in an Instagram statement. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving coparents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.” The couple’s split came three months after they welcomed their second child.

Luke Evans and Rafa Olarra

The Beauty & the Beast actor confirmed his split from the former footballer after less than a year of dating in an interview with The Times. “It is what it is,” Evans told the British newspaper on January 8 about speculation over his relationship status.

Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrooks

The Love Island USA stars announced on January 9 that they had broken up. “Because you’ve all been such a close part of our relationship, I wanted to share with you that Johnny and I are no longer together,” Vazquez, who appeared on season 2 of the show with Middlebrooks in 2020, tweeted. “While our relationship has been public from the start, I do ask that you respect this decision and our privacy during this time. There is no reason to speculate, I am so thankful for our time together, but not it’s simply time for each of us to focus on our own personal journey. I hope that you continue to support each of us individually as we move forward, heal and continue to follow our dreams.”

Middlebrooks shared Vazquez’s tweet on his Instagram Story along with videos of the couple and wrote, “Thank you so much for everything. I’m appreciative of the time we spent together on this unforgettable journey. I will forever cherish the fun we had, the laughs we shared, and the memories we created. Thank you to all of the fans who loved and supported us the whole way through. Much love.”

Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley

A source confirmed to Us on January 7 that the Disney alum and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress had split. The pair, who starred in Qualley’s sister Rainey‘s NSFW music video for “Love Me Like You Hate Me,” called it quits amid the Peanut Butter Falcon‘s star legal trouble with ex-girlfriend FKA twigs. The singer is suing LaBeouf, accusing him of “relentless abuse” including sexual battery, assault and emotional distress. He said in a statement to The New York Times that “many of these allegations are not true” but accepted “accountability” for his mistakes.

Zoe Kravitz and Karl Glusman

News broke on January 2 that the couple had called it quits after less than two years of marriage. Us confirmed via court records that the Big Little Lies star filed for divorce in New York from the Love actor on December 23, 2020. The pair, who began dating in 2016, secretly married in May 2019 and tied the knot for a second time in Paris the following month at her father Lenny Kravitz‘s French home.
