Ayushmann Khurrana is loved as much for his acting skills as he is for his flair for singing and music. Most of his films feature a song — if not a cover — by the artist himself, much to the delight of his fans. And, things are no different for his latest film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actor recently released a song, Maafi, and close on the heels of this song comes a post describing what music means to the star. Sharing two photos in which he is sitting in front of a microphone, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “I’m the happiest when I express through music. The mic has been a companion since my school days. Came out with a song after a year and a half. Can’t express how I feel.”

He followed this up with lyrics from the song itself and added the hashtag “gratitude”. Replying to the post, Ayushmann Khurrana’s brother and actor, Aparshakti Khurana dropped a heart emoji. Actress Amruta Khanvilkar replied to the post saying, “What a song…”
