It’s been too long. After an extended pause, festivals are back on the menu. All across Europe and the UK, top promoters are putting together celebrations of life, love, and song. Want to attend? Then check out this post before buying your music festival tickets for 2021.
Here’s what you won’t want to miss:
Hideout Festival
No place on The Continent screams summer more than the islands of Croatia. Every year, their hot sun, beautiful beaches, and crystal clear waters draw millions of visitors from around the world. So it’s natural someone would eventually organise a music festival.
Since 2010, the Hideout Festival has been that party. For over a decade, music enthusiasts have made the pilgrimage to the Isle of Pag to take in the world’s top electronic music artists.
At this festival, you’ll never be at a loss for things to do. Take in DJs you love (or have never heard of before) at the main stage. Take a break at one of many pool parties. Indulge your adrenaline habit at the Zrce Beach bungee jump. The best news – you’ll have five days to take it all in.
The Hideout Festival runs from 5-9 September.
The Gathering Fest
Are you sticking to the UK this summer? No worries – this summer, the latest edition of The Gathering will go off. So far, it’s shaping up to be a banger – over 12 hours, 60 acts will play on 5 stages.
Artists from house, trance, hardcore, and other dance genres will be there. But when you need to chill a bit, there will be plenty more to do. Away from the performances, you’ll get to enjoy a food village, a bar area, and even fair rides.
The Gathering Fest will happen on 11 September at the Meridian Showground in Cleethorpes.
Glitch Festival
Of all the events on Europe’s music fest calendar, the Malta-based Glitch Festival is a relative newcomer. But it’s worth attending – with a capacity of only 4,000 festival-goers, it’s a more intimate experience than the mega-fests on the mainland.
But it isn’t just size that separates Glitch from the crowd – its approach to venues is also innovative. Over four days, you’ll take in DJs from rooftop pools, a cave, and even a boiler room. On the final day, the last performance takes place aboard a boat – epic!
The 2021 Glitch Festival will go from 13-16 August at the Gianpula Village on Malta.
Live It Up This Summer
Life has never been more meaningful than it is right now. So make this summer the best one ever – check out a music festival with your friends. Have fun!
