In the film, he was seen alongside Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa, and Izabelle Leite. The film was produced by K. A. Vallabha under the banner of Creative Commercials and written and directed by Kranthi Madhav. World Famous Lover was declared a hit by the audience and the critics.
Vijay Deverakonda is now gearing up for the release of his pan-India film Liger, which will also mark his official Bollywood debut. Liger also stars Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, who will mark her South debut with the film. The film has been co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Puri Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
The shooting of Liger has been postponed due to COVID-19. The film is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Liger will reportedly hit the big screens on August 25, 2022.
