Katrina Kaif And Vicky Kaushal’s Wedding: The Wikipedia Mystery
[ad_1]
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s Wikipedia pages were briefly updated ahead of their wedding to list them as each other’s spouses – but the changes were reversed soon afterwards. Katrina and Vicky were to have a court marriage in Mumbai last week according to reports – like everything else about their super-secret wedding, there has been no official confirmation or announcement. The couple are in Rajasthan currently where a grand but extremely private wedding will take place tomorrow. On Monday evening, the couple flew out of Mumbai and reached their wedding venue – the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur.
As per unconfirmed reports, Vicky and Katrina hosted a sangeet night at the royal palace on Tuesday night – which is also when their Wikipedia pages were updated to show them as married. The “spouse” tab on Katrina Kaif’s Wikipedia page was updated to show Vicky Kaushal as her husband, while Vicky’s page was also updated to list Katrina as his spouse.
The Wikipedia changes, however, were reversed this morning since the edits were based on unconfirmed reports.
Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that is maintained by a community of volunteers from across the world. Wikipedia’s content is editable – anyone from experts to casual fans can edit Wikipedia pages.
Meanwhile, fans have their eyes peeled for any clues about the upcoming nuptials. This morning, an Instagram Story from Veena Nagda, mehendi artist to the stars, set social media abuzz with further speculation about the wedding. Ms Nagda shared a picture of herself captioned “So happy. Finally we did it”, along with the hashtag #bigfatIndianwedding. This was followed by a video showing a drive through very Rajasthan-like scenery – which naturally had Katrina fans wondering if Ms Nagda was at the wedding venue.
Katrina and Vicky have taken several measures to ensure that photos from the wedding and pre-wedding festivities are not leaked online. Security at the venue is reportedly being provided by Salman Khan’s personal bodyguard, Shera, while local administration has also been roped in for security arrangements. Guests have also been asked to refrain from posting any photos on social media.
