The Complete Lifetime Christmas Movies 2022 Schedule and Cast

Ho ho ho! The holiday season is officially upon us, and there’s no better time to spread love and cheer. Luckily, Lifetime is familiar with the idea of channeling the Christmas spirit, thanks to its annual “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” movie marathon, comprised of 26 new films.

Continuing previous years of tradition, Lifetime’s holiday TV event is similar to Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas.” After kicking off on November 5 at 8 p.m., new Christmas movies are premiering every weekend for folks to enjoy, possibly while decorating the Christmas tree or drinking a Christmas cocktail.

This year, Lifetime viewers already saw Full House star Jodie Sweetin‘s character fall in love in the dramedy Merry Swissmas. But she’s not the only famous face fans will recognize. Many will instantly spot other celebrities like Mario Lopez, Maria Menounos and even music legend Patti LaBelle. So, you can rest assured that each selection will have all the heart, joy and Christmas activities we’ve all come to love around the holiday season. Premieres: Saturday, November 5 at 8 p.m. ET

Starring: Jodie Sweetin, Mikaela Lily Davies, David Pinard, Jane Wheeler and Tim Rozon

Alex (Jodie Sweetin) has found out her best friend is in a relationship with her ex-boyfriend, and she’s pretty upset about it. But when she flies to Switzerland for the holidays, she discovers the power of forgiving herself. What’s more, she may just find true love along the way.

Premieres: Sunday, November 6 at 8 p.m. ET

Starring: Mercedes de la Zerda and Franco Lo Presti

Fashion designer Rachel Rocca (Mercedes de la Zerda) is thrilled to earn a spot in a design contest. Instead of cash, the winner will get to create a suit for the city’s resident single handsome fella, Brett Stone (Franco Lo Presti). But there’s more than meets the eye and Rachel falls in love while achieving her lifelong goals.

Christmas on Mistletoe Lake

Premieres: Thursday, November 10 at 8 p.m. ET

Starring: Genelle Williams, Hattie Kragten and Corey Sevier

Impulsive Reilly Short (Genelle Williams) is obsessed with choosing a random location on a map and spending Christmas there. This time though, her trip to Mistletoe Lake doesn’t go as planned when she experiences an overbooking at her hotel. One things leads to another and she ends up staying with a young girl and her dad Raymond Mitchell (Corey Sevier) on their boat.

The Dog Days of Christmas

Premieres: Friday, November 11 at 8 p.m. ET

Starring: Georgia Flood and Ezekiel Simat

Annie Blake (Georgia Flood) is down on her luck when it comes to finding love. But as she makes the trek back to her family’s hometown for Christmas, she discovers a trio of stray dogs that need a loving home. Enter Annie’s one-time crush Dylan Hawkes (Ezekiel Simat), who’s now the town vet, and sparks might just start flying.

Reindeer Games Homecoming

Premieres: Saturday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET

Starring: Sarah Drew, Justin Bruening and Brian Sills

MacKenzie Graves (Sarah Drew) wants to keep her father’s memory alive by continuing his Reindeer Games charity event in her Vermont hometown. But she finds herself getting competitive for folks’ attention when Hollywood star Chase Weston (Justin Bruening) arrives. It also doesn’t help that he was MacKenzie’s high school crush and it so happens that Chase now wants to steal her heart.

But when Jason (Steve Lund) receives Harper’s original package, he’s convinced he’s found the love of his life. Now, all he has to do is meet her.

Pastry chef Carmen (Camila Banus) has sweets in her veins — she is the daughter of two bakers after all. Thanks to handsome hotel owner Victor Flores (David Fumero), she gets a job doing what she loves … and maybe falling for someone too.

Aspiring country singer Chrissy (Brooke Elliott) is living her dream. But along the way, she had to leave behind her hometown ex-boyfriend/music partner Luke Covington (Brandon Quinn). So, when Chrissy returns home amid a dip in fame, she runs into Luke and surprises herself with the realization that she may still want him around.

Starring: Jamie Perez and Thomas McDonnell

Riley (Jamie Perez) currently works as the artistic direction of the Onota Theatre. But when the owner reveals her plans to sell the establishment ahead of the holiday performance, Riley prays for a miracle. Enter TV star Sam Palmer (Thomas McDowell), who’s just moved to town to get away from acting. Now, Riley will just have to convince him to join her project … and maybe capture his heart too.

This Christmas, Julia (Cory Lee) has one wish: to finally finish writing a cookbook. In order to do so, she decides to venture over to a small town whose bakery is famous for its gingerbread. She unexpectedly ruffles feathers when she meets the chef who created the recipe (Yannick Bisson) and he’s not too thrilled to see someone try to take his creation.

With only 12 chances to repair his broken family, he’s about to learn what Christmas means during the holidays.
